Happy Birthday Alma

Home away from home... This is our life here in Hongkong, every special occassions in our lives we are going to celebrate it with our friends. No  family gatherings like what we are used to in the Philippines.

Like today we celebrate the birthday of my friend Alma Brao, last thursday was her birthday, but since it was a working day so we had a post birthday celebration. Alma is also a model OFW working abroad not just for herself but for her family as well as for the family she worked with so that she can finish college.. Yes Dear Readers, she was a working student.. struggled all the household works every day just to pursue her dreams to finsh her studies.. And now here she is celebrating another day of her life in Hongkong with us her FRIENDS.

Look at our foods, Pansit for long life, Sinigang Baboy, Pritong isda and of course rice.. simple foods but its the thought that counts. We are family here, if you are an OFW you have your second family, your FRIENDS.

Thanks to our ever loving Hostess Thata {Rosemariles Monterona} for always there to prepare food for us... She is a good cook and the best host ever...

And to KONGKONG, he is Thata's employer and we stay at his house every Sundays and holidays. He like being with us.. Thank you Kongkong for accepting us in your house..
