A Ship on the Land...!!

Amazed with what I saw, that's how I exclaimed the first time I've seen Whampoa. A ship in the middle of city... the landmark of Hunghom, Hong Kong. Whampoa is not an ordinary Cruise Ship, built like a cruise ship, not to sail but as a Shopping Boat.



Whampoa is one of the main tourist attraction in Hong Kong, and one of the most unusual tourist commercial centers in the world. The photo below shows on what you can find inside Whampoa Ship...

Whampoa ship is located at Whampoa Garden, Hunghom District, Kowloon HK. And is one of the Wonders that composes Wonderful Worlds of Whampoa.


Means of Transportation towards Whampoa

From Tsim Sha Tsui you may ride Green Mini Bus #6 and 6A, will only cost HKD5.2... Then, there are also big buses at Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Terminal towards Whampoa.. Big Bus #s 8A and 8P, will cost only HKD 3.9.

If you are from Central, you may take Star Ferry towards Tsim Sha Tsui. Star Ferry from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui will cost only HKD 3.5, Then take Big Bus 8A and 8P, worth HKD 3.9 towards Whampoa. You may also take Big Bus 115, from Central Macau Ferry Terminal. This route worth HKD 9.7..
