Ten Thousand Buddhas' Temple : Must See Attraction in Hong Kong

It was a boring Monday, nothing to do and I need an article to write.. My friend +Rosemariles suggested that we visit Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple, since I haven't been there, so off we go.

Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple in Hong Kong is one of the best and
most favorite temple to visit among tourists... The Temple is managed by Layman coz there is no resident monks in the Temple. A Devout Buddhist layman named Yuet Kai built the Temple and gave the rest of his life in the construction of the Temple and making almost 13,000 Statutes of Buddha.

Visiting Ten Thousand Buddhas' temple was a real Fun... You need to be Physically fit to climb more than 430 Steps up to the Temple, You need to wear a comfy outfit to sustain the Climbing... And Beleive me bring a towel if you will visit the Temple on Summer coz you will be sweating like hell... hahahaha But It really Feels Good to reach the top... :-)

The Entrance of the Temple... You can see the Statutes of Buddha lined as Guards from the Entrance towards the Temple..

See, my friend +Rosemariles was enjoying the climb... but that was only for the first few steps, Midway we were catching our breath already..

Out of breath but still managed to Pose and Smile... I would like to thank my Model and my Dear friend, +Rosemariles Monterona, for allowing us to post her photos... Thanks Tha... :-)

LOCATION

The TEMPLE is located at 220 Pai Tau Village, Shatin, New Territories... Easy way to go there is through the KCR East Rail Line at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station... You will stop at Shatin KCR Station, then go directly to Exit B, towards the escalator, then turn to the right heading to the road proper. Just walk towards the Shatin government Offices Buildng, and besides IKEA, you can find a small pathway heading to the entrance of the Temple.
This is the Main Temple, where they worship and lighted incense, but since photo taking is not allowed inside, we just have the front view of the Temple..
These are their Buddhas arranged neatly in all sides around the Temple...
In this photo, the Miniature Tower is full of different Buddhas'replicas..
The stairs towards the Exit of the Temple is also guarded with hundreds of Buddhas lined as soldiers along the way...

And that was our short escapade at Ten Thousand Buddhas' Temple, Yes, it was a sweaty escapade but the Peace and Serenity when you reached at the Top, is worth trying again...
